Minimum Vital Income - Modified Conditions 29.9.2020

Several relevant technical clarifications to the original regulation so that applications can be processed quicker.

The concept of Coexistence Unit has been modified to incorporate those people who, without kinship or similar ties to each other, share a home with a coexistence unit made up of people who do have ties. In these cases, the existence of two coexistence units will be considered.

In addition, if through a contract the individualized use, by a single person or by the members of a living unit, of a room in a hotel establishment or similar is accredited, it will be considered domicile for the purposes provided in this rule.

Likewise, the concept of a single-parent home is clarified and the requirement of three years of independent living (one year for those over 30) and one year of Social Security contributions is limited to those under 30 years of age.
