During this week, Veiasa are to reactivate the system for appointments. This can be carried out by calling 959 999 999 on online on: Cita Previa
Please note the procedure:
During the coming days, those whose ITV expired before the State of Alert (group 1) but had an appointment that was cancelled, will receive a call to be offered a new appointment. These are the users who were not able to benefit from the governments moratorium allowing drivers to use their vehicles during the state of alarm without the risk of being sanctioned. Will be attended as priority.
The clients whose ITV expired during the state of alert (group 2) and have been able to drive with an expired ITV, will benefit from an order to be published by the government but of which the contents are not as yet known. What Veiasa are saying that what they do know is that those mentioned here can count on being given a considerable period to pass the test. They add that once they know the contents of the ministerial order, they will send each user affected by none or cancelled appointments, a SMS informing them of the final date when the ITV test must be taken. It will then be the responsibility of the user to make a new appointment. The appointments cannot be made until the SMS has been received.
Veiasa asks the users in the second group, to remain calm as they can continue to circulate without fear of sanctions. Users were told that they would have thirty days to attend the test. Veiasa is now waiting for the ministerial order for a new definitive date.
Please note* The stations will only attend those who have appointments.
May 18, 14.16 hours. Message from Veiasa:
In relation to the questions that some users have been asking us during the last hours, VEIASA wants to state the following:
The appointments quadrant is complete in its entirety almost in all the stations until June, except in Granada and Malaga.
Many of these appointments have been made by citizens whose ITV has expired during the state of alarm, and who therefore could benefit from an extension. In front of them are many other people whose ITV expired before March 14, and consequently have their vehicles immobilised.
We therefore want this group of people to find an appointment. So when we reopen the website later today, priority will be given in the appointment reservation based on the expiration date: that is, to people who cannot circulate because their ITV is expired and they do not benefit from the extensions granted by the Ministry through the Order published last Saturday. This system will remain in force for a few days, being notified through our website and social network profiles of any modification that occurs for this purpose.
We also wish to clarify that regardless of the this situation, all appointments made both via telephone and the website throughout the past week are still in force, regardless of who and how they have been granted. In other words, they continue both if the beneficiary’s ITV expired before March 14 and they would not be entitled to an extension, as well as if their ITV has expired after that date and can circulate thanks to the moratorium. In fact, as always, these users will receive an SMS with the reminder of their appointment.
We trust that citizens understand that the objective of this way of structuring our services is none other than to solve, as far as possible, the consequences derived from extraordinary circumstances: and these, as such, require an effort on the part of all. .
