During the State of Alarm, you will be able to access all necessary procedures to apply for benefits etc. without an electronic signature, so without the need for a digital certificate or a Cl@ve.
For the INSS, for applications, communications or to send them scans of documents.
Please take note. There is a safety question at the bottom. In case you use a translator with your browser, the form needs to be set to the original Spanish when you enter the answer to the safety question.
**Provisionally, your ID will be accepted without using an electronic signature, but they will be allowed to verify it by using government databases, unless you express that you are opposed to that. You will need to give consent to the processing of your application.
If you don’t have access to the documents required for a certain application, because of the containment measures, you will be allowed to provide alternative proof, provisionally, but once the State of Alarm will have been lifted, you’ll need to present the required ones.
If you cannot provide alternative proof either, you will be allowed to present a ‘responsible declaration’ stating that you meet the requisites and will comply with presenting proof after the State of Alarm ends.
If they have approved your provisional application, paid out and later on reviewing your application it appears you didn’t meet all necessary requisites, you will be required to refund the amounts received.
Applications for unemployment benefits with SEPE.
To apply for unemployment benefits you now need to use the ‘pre-registration form’ if you don’t have a digital certificate or Cl@ve. Note: NOT to be used by those whose employer has applied for an ERTE.
The same as of ** for the INSS, is valid for the procedures on the SEPE website as well.
