Those Not Insured Who Are Allowed Free Healthcare in Special Circumstances

There are groups of people who are entitled to free healthcare in special circumstances. The information can be found on the link below.  The groups included can be residents or nonresidents without health cover of any type.

The law on healthcare states that the availability for this healthcare cover is for ALL those legal residents who are not insured or cannot export cover from their home country (S1). In reality the social security offices are incorrectly basing this right for the those pre April 2012 residents.

*Please note: In a lot of cases relating to treatment provided for children. if you are not told that you need to pay at the hospital, you could still receive notification in Spanish of the cost of the treatment. Please check that this is not a bill but a notification of what the treatment costs.
