Must I Carry Identification?

All citizens and foreign residents in Spain are obliged to carry ID documentation. Regardless what is accepted or whatever experiences, we post what the law for foreigners in Spain states:

A valid passport or proof of renewal application.
Also accompanied by certificate issued from the central office for EU citizens (residency)

Non EU TIE Proof of right to reside.
