Local Taxes - Fractioned Payment IVTM, IBI etc.

The Patronato de Recaudación, the organisation that takes care of the incasso of local taxes for many Town Halls in the province of Málaga, offers to have the local taxes like IVTM, IAE, IBI and for some Towns, ‘basura’ as well, as a special COVID-19 measure, to be fractioned in 5 payments over the months July – November.

You need to apply before June 15th, either by phone 951 957 000 on weekdays from horario de 9:00 to 18:00, or online, on their website. Look for the button ‘Plan de Pago Personalizado COVID-19’ for full info.

but to be honest, the phone option appears to be simpler. Keep invoices from last year handy as they are bound to ask for details from those.

Note: if you already applied for fractioned payment last year, you do not have to take any action, they will process this year’s payments the same way.
