To make sure you are never caught out by a Traffic fine not reaching you by mail, and thus losing the opportunity to pay only 50% within the established timeslot of 20 days and/or the opportunity to appeal the fine, you can subscribe to the Dirección Electronica Vial (DEV) through the DGT website.
You will need to have a digital certificate installed on your computer to do so, and once subscribed, you will receive notifications of fines through email and sms. If you need help installing a digital certificate, there is an infosheet on that subject in our Library.
