Only available for replacement cards in case of loss, theft or severe wear. For new applications you need to go to INSS in person, to get your right to healthcare acknowledged first, and then ask the receptionist at your local health centre to apply for the card for you, presenting the certificate of entitlement there.

Once you´re on the ClicSalud+ page, choose Tramites on the left. Then click one of the three options at top of page: either ´certificado digital´ or Cl@ve or ´introducir datos personales´.

If you do not have a Cl@ve or digital certificate installed on your computer, choose the latter, continue filling out the data, same as when you would make an appointment with your GP.
Press ´conectar´. Then choose ´renovar tarjeta sanitaria´ from the Tramites menu at the left. It will then state when your present card was issued. Press ´solicitar tarjeta´, choose one of the options presented, depending on the reason for requesting a new card and follow the rest of the menu.
