22.6.2020 Information on the recognition of the increase in the benefit for dependent children for people affected by ERTE.

All those who have a regulatory base of less than € 52.29 are not affected by the calculation of sons or daughters, since the amount to be received would in any case be below the maximum limit without children.

If you are unemployed NOT MOTIVATED BY AN ERTE, it is recalled that until one month after the end of the state of alarm, the submission of applications after the deadline (so outside the window of 15 days) will not mean that the duration of the right to the corresponding benefit is reduced.

More information in the COVID-19 section of the SEPE website

Minimum Life Income: SEPE does not process the Minimum Life Income. You must go for more information to the Seguridad Social website.

27.8.2020 In certain ERTE situations it is possible that, when consulting the receipt, an incorrect amount of benefits may be seen that is not real and that will disappear when the pertinent adjustments are made. It is recommended to check the status of the benefit again later, to verify that the situation has been regularized.

In the same way, the State Public Employment Service (SEPE), in the process of review of benefits, is proceeding to notify the beneficiaries of benefits of the undue charges that may have originated.

Those people who have received incorrect amounts of ERTE payments will receive a notification by certified mail to proceed with the return of these amounts. Once this request has been notified, the interested person has 30 business days to carry out this procedure, without surcharges or interest if it is carried out within the corresponding period. Do NOT initiate a re-payment yourself, you need the reference number that will be on the notification for it to be administrated properly.
