Offices where you can rent vehicles without a driver. Amended 24.3.2020, now not limited to transport for goods.

In order to guarantee the operation of transport operations of goods and ensure the necessary supply of products to the population, as well as the displacements allowed in article 7 of the Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, will be allowed to open the establishments dedicated to leasing driverless vehicles to effects noted.

In all cases, the measures and instructions of protection indicated by the Ministry of Health aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19 should be followed.

When using public or private transport buses:

Unless the driver is protected by a screen, passengers must access the vehicle using the back door. This provision may be excepted in `public transport in case the ticket is to be purchased inside.
In the means of transport that allow it, the doors will be activated by the driver or machine operator, thus avoiding that they have to be operated by the passenger.
Bus companies will take the necessary measures to ensure maximum separation is possible between passengers, so that no more than a third of seats can be occupied for maximum vehicle occupancy. In any case, the row after the seat occupied by the driver must remain empty.

Taxis:

Displacements carried out by public passenger transport in tourism vehicle (CAB note: taxis), under the provisions of article 7 of the Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, must be made individually, unless accompanying people with disabilities, minors, the elderly or for other just cause.
