Which Convenio Applies to My Work Contract? Andalucia?

The Junta de Andalucia has incorporated a search tool on its website, helping you determine which ´convenio laboral´ applies to your work contract. Convenios can be for a determined sector or even for one company with a chain of stores. Can be provincial, regional or nationwide. There are literally hundreds of convenios in existence in Spain.

Many work contracts contain very few details with regards to wages, holiday entitlement etc. and instead, refer to the convenio applicable. It is important to verify whether your contract corresponds with what the convenio prescribes for your exact job description to make sure you receive what you are entitled to.

The Junta website provides both a search tool and an email address in the case you need further assistance.
