Communicate Habitual Driver to DGT Trafico

If you are the registered owner of a vehicle, but it is habitually used by another person, for a period of at least 30 days, you can communicate that to DGT Trafico. It will make sure notifications of fines etc. are sent to that person, instead of you.

Could be useful if you lend your vehicle to someone else, for a month at least. You can modify the registration when the situation changes. The habitual driver needs to have NIE number.

You can file the paperwork in person at Trafico, or online if you have a digital certificate installed on your computer.

Info from DGT Trafico website.
