Can I Pay Ibi In Installments?

Several towns have already gone from only one payment, to 2 installments to pay the yearly IBI bill.

If you prefer to pay in more installments, you can enquire at your Town Hall. Many towns facilitate this, but you must apply in advance, november/december of one year, to have effect the next. Some towns offer payment in up to 11 installments, starting in January.

Having the IBI bill ´domiciliado´ is a requisite, and being up-to-date with the payments so far.

While you are at Town Hall, remember to check whether you are registered on the padrón with your NIE number, so that you can benefit from the discounts on IBI that many towns offer.
