Please note that though requisites are described on the site, the various offices for foreigners at the stations of the ‘Policia Nacional’ tend to use their own rules. Those who believe the requisites required are not being adhered to, can contact us or your nearest consulate.

Also note that the civil servants are allowed some to take into consideration that you or your family may be considered to become a burden on the state and can refuse your application. Note* Oficina de Extranjeria mentioned in the Europa website, normally relates to the main provincial office who generally deal in residence applications for non EU.
