Do Children Need Their Own EHIC When Travelling?

Yes they do. Every family member needs to have their own EHIC when traveling. You can make an application on your child’s behalf and they’ll receive their own card. They can then use their card even if they’re not traveling with you e.g. school trips, holidays with friends
