Addendum To The ‘grants Available For Unemployed Who Start As Autonomo’

Some notes to assist in successful and problem free applications. Please read as very important.

Grants are also available for first time autonomos.

1. Before you commence with the application, visit one of the offices who deal with grants in your region. In Andalucia for example, you may be dealing with a person in an office known as CADE
2. Read all the small print on the application relating to duties.
3. Ask the office staff to clarify everything for you.
4. Most of these grants are known as ‘fondos perdidos’ (funds are not repayable).
If you not comply with all the requisites such as ‘you have to employ one or more persons and you do not, you WILL receive notification one or more years down the line to repay the funds provided.
5. Be aware with assistance as to how you will describe your project. Certain business with have priority over others. Some ventures will not be backed.
6. If you have already embarked on your business project, apply as though you are just commencing.
7. Technology and business which use IT including websites are likely to receive a favourable response.
8. Find out the type of business that the regions like to assist with grants as not to be disappointed.
9. Some grants are available for either male or female entrepreneurs.
10. The loans can take anything over a year to 18 months to process. Meanwhile you will be expected to have commenced using your funds.
11. You will be asked where you are expecting to find the funds needed before you receive your subvencion.
12. Some banks will help with loans. Be very careful and take this a step at a time with full knowledge of what you are doing.
13. If you use a gestor, he or she will be charging you a fee. It is beneficial to them that you apply for this grant. Do not rely on them to give you the negatives.
14.Thousands have had the grants clawed back due to non compliance to the small print.
