Registering a Vivienda Con Fines Turisticos Andalucia

Update November 2019. As per a ruling on the 21st of October 2019 by the Spanish Supreme Court the requisite re fixed aircon units in every room has been eliminated.

Info and FAQs on the Junta de Andalucia website on how to register your property on the Registro de Turismo, requisite to obtain a registration number that you need to include in all publicity as of 12th of May 2016.

Please note that a property is legal to be advertised and to be let once the owner or rental company has filed the ‘declaración responsable’, so with a CTC number, but that properties will only be included on the Registro once they have their definite VFT (Vivienda con fines turisticos) number.

Also, no idea how frequently the Registro is updated.
