1. You need to calculate what according to the government the current value of your vehicle is, there is a link to a calculator. You need to put in the relevant details of you car, engine size, year or registration and the calculator will tell you what the value of the car was when it was first registered.
2. Let’s say your car is now 10.5 years old and the value new, according to the government was 20.000€. The current value would be 17% of 20.000€. So according to the government, the vehicle’s current taxable value is 3400€.
