Yes, in most towns you can find a PUNTO LIMPIO, often on the outskirts of a town, on a ´poligono´.

Opening hours usually quite limited, so best ask at your Town Hall before you go.

You can bring your old and broken kitchen equipment, computer equipment, TL lights, batteries, furniture, clothing, shoes and whatsnot.

In residential areas you will find regular containers for general bagged up household waste, green containers for ´vidrio´/glass, yellow ones for plastic bottles (soft drinks and washing liquid e.g.), blue ones for paper and carton and orange ones for used (bottled) cooking oil.  And containers, managed by charity organisations, where you can you deposit your used but still usable clothing and shoes.
