Vehicle Transfer Tax (Impuesto Sobre Transmisiones Patrimoniales)- How To Declare Online Andalucia

Information on how to fill out form 621 / Modelo 621 to declare the above mentioned tax to the Tax Office in Andalucia. You have to pay this tax before you can arrange for the transfer of ownership of a second hand vehicle at Trafico. Info is in Spanish. Valid for vehicles, motorcycles and boats.

INFO HERE

Please be advised that if the vehicle is not in the catalogue that the tax office uses to consult the value and thus the tax due on the vehicle, you cannot arrange for the declaration online, but would have to fill out a physical form, Modelo 620, and present that in person instead.

Access to the actual form 621 to fill out through

THIS LINK

Please click ´Acceso al modelo´ under ´Modelo 621´.

Please note the possibility to ask for assistance by telephone, through the Centro de Información y Atención Tributaria (CIYAT) – 954 544 350.

To the best of my knowledge, for private individuals it is only possible to fill out the form online, but after validation, you would need to print the created pdf file and take it to a collaborating bank for payment.

Online processing of the form only possible for collaborating entities, like a gestor.

Note: please check carefully if the date of first registration comes up correctly. With imported vehicles often the date of registration in Spain comes up instead of the actual first registration date and this could make a considerable difference in tax to pay.

According to the info on the DGT/Trafico website, this online service should be available in the autonomous regions of Andalucía, Aragón, Asturias, Cantabria, Castilla y León, Cataluña, Illes Balears, Madrid, Murcia y la Comunidad Foral de Navarra
