Temporary Parking Badge For Those Terminally Or Very Seriously Ill

For those diagnosed with a very serious, possibly terminal medical condition to guarantee quicker access to the parking badge than the regular procedure through Social Services would, in the circumstance that the regular procedure would likely take too long and the patient may have passed away before permission would be granted.

No need to get disabled certificate first, your Town Hall, Servicios Sociales need to apply for the badge – ´for humanitarian reasons´ supplying confirmation of the condition from your doctor (official certificate) and the Regional Inspection of Servicios Sanitorios.

This temporary badge is valid for one year and can be extended for another year.

If your town hall is not aware of this ´short-cut´ to obtain the blue parking badge, here´s the regulation for MURCIA to print out (art. 7).  If you´re from another region, google ´tarjeta estacionamiento por razones humanitarias´ and add your region.
