This is excellent news. Our lawyers are not only willing to commence proceedings against the banks for each of our members who have the illegal clause in their mortgage contract but. No win no fee basis which means that they are also assuming the attorney and court costs. Lawyers fees will only be paid when the case is settled.

Do you have the ‘Clausula  Suelo’ (floor clause) in your mortgage contract or do or you think you may have? If so the deductions of your monthly payments will be linked to a higher interest than the legal rate. This will have been showing as increased monthly mortgage payments. The interest will NOT have fallen inline with the euribor. Have this practice stopped. Ensure that your monthly repayments are reduced and the illegal amounts paid to date returned.

Take action. Some of our members have already had thousands returned and ensured that the monthly repayments were lowered considerably.

This also is applicable to those who have sold their properties or liquidated the mortgage within the last four years.

Please read the information on the links below. If you think you may be subject to this illegal clause, email me at: myra@citizensadvice.org.es

All those who have responded by sending an email can be reassured that they are on the list. This will be the case even if you do not receive a response during the festive season. Please do leave a contact telephone number and the town/region where you have your mortgage and property.
