On September 19, 2013, a new law was approved by the Parliament of Spain to support entrepreneurs and their internationalisation. The essential purpose of this law was to undertake reforms favourable for growth and economic recovery, as well as to contribute to the internationalisation of the Spanish economy. The law includes a series of measures to encourage and facilitate the start of business activities. Various tax measures and Social Security issues as well as measures to support entrepreneurial financing and foster business development are included. This law also facilitates the entry and residence of investors, entrepreneurs, foreign researchers, as well as highly skilled foreign professionals into Spain.
