A subsidy consisting of 50% of the price of plane or boat tickets, from the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, for trips to the Spanish mainland. Available for all EU nationals that reside on the islands, plus their families.
Also available for non-EU citizens, with residency permits ´larga duración´.
The airline and ferry companies have access to the SARA system (Sistema de Acreditación de Residencia Automatizado) so they can verify the required status when you book your ticket.

¨Passengers requesting the discount must be in possession of a Certificate of Residence issued by the Town Hall in which they reside, valid for the entire duration of the travel period, unless they have been validated electronically by the Ministerio de Fomento at the time your ticket was issued.
During your booking process we are required to send the Resident information supplied to the Spanish Ministry for Public Works.
If you receive pre-validation of your residency documents prior to the completion of your booking, you do not need to bring your Resident Certificate to the Airport.
If your Resident document was not validated during the booking process, you will be required to produce your valid Resident Certificate and DNI/NIE, at the Ryanair Visa Check/Ticket desk for verification, prior to proceeding to the boarding gates.
Documents required to avail of a Resident Discount.
Spanish Nationals: A valid Certificate of Residence and a Valid National Identity Card / valid passport
Spanish Nationals under 14 years, without a DNI: A valid Certificate of Residence
EU/EEA/ Swiss Nationals: A valid Certificate of Residence and a valid National Identity Card issued by the country of origin/ valid passport.
Family members of EU nationals: A valid Certificate of Residence along with the valid residence card indicating his/her status of existing EU family member.
Non-EU Nationals holding a long-term residence permit: A valid Certificate of Residence along with the valid resident card indicating his/her condition of long-term resident.
Passengers failing to produce the correct documentation in addition to the photo ID required for travel on Ryanair flights will be denied travel.
If a passenger in the booking is not a Resident, they should make a separate booking.¨
