Communities must pay taxes for works or services carried out in 2014 by 02/03/15
Any communities, who have carried out works or had services provided in 2014 amounting to 3,005.06 plus euros, have only ten days for the president to make a declaration using modelo 347 to the Agencia Tributaria. This as established and approved in a ministerial decree last year. Said to be a new legal provision to combat fraud for contracts with third persons those companies who have provided services in the community.
These new regulations as approved by the government is obligatory and must be presented by the given date. Although published when approved, according to the president of the college of communities in Madrid, Manuela Julia Martínez Torres warns that up to 20% of the communities of owners (normally those who are possibly managed by one of the owners or administrator companies who are not registered with the various colleges) are not informed of this legislative change, so it is likely that they will not submit this declarations on time resulting in significant financial penalties, a minimum of 300 euros and a maximum of 20,000 euro.
Ms Martínez Torres who applauds this decision stating that it will help to professionalise administrators of communities, insists that all acquisitions and services provided must be accompanied by an invoice and those who do not may also have sanctions imposed as according to the article 201 of the regulations and management procedures of tax inspections.
