The UKs Prime Minister Brexit Extension Letter to the EU

In parliament today, the Letwin amendment was approved with a majority vote. The result was that Parliament did not vote for the PM’s deal on exiting the European union on October 31. Unless there is a further vote next week by parliament as a second attempt to see if the UK will exit on October 31, or if there is to be an extension until January 31 2020.

CAB Spain, will post any information as a result of the governments position that may have an effect on such matters as the renewal /exchange of UK driving licenses or any change in residency status.

We advise all UK nationals residents in Spain who hold a UK driving license, to continue to make the application to renew or exchange for a Spanish permit. To those without residency to make an application as soon as possible.
