New modification of instructions to municipalities on the management of the municipal register of inhabitants

Padron law of February 2023 has modified the instructions to the town halls on various point.

Two modifications on the Application forms>

Application for renewal of the registry registration for non-EU foreigners without permanent residence authorisation.

Application for renewal of the census registration for non-EU foreigners without permanent residence authorisation, presented by a representative, deleting the reference in both to national identity document, which is not applicable to non-EU foreigners. The term permanent residence is being replaced by the correct term for non EU.  “long-term” residence.

Personally pleased to see correct terms being used as permanent residence is used for EU citizens and long term  larga duración for non EU.
