Concessions for the exploitation of toll roads in Spain are limited, the first one to end is on the AP-1, between Burgos and Amiñon.
As of today, the first of December 2018, those that used to pay around 12 euros for the use of this 84,5 km stretch of tollroad, have to do so no more.
Next up are two stretches of road on the AP-7 (Alicante-Tarragona) and on the AP-4 (Sevilla-Cádiz), in December 2019.
The Minister has announced that those stretches will be toll-free as of that date as well.
Update January 2020, both above mentioned stretches of toll road are now toll-free.
