D Day. End of roaming charges in the EU

Roam like at home.

The EU “roam like at home” rules mean that when you use your mobile phone while travelling outside your home country in any EU country you don’t have to pay any additional roaming charges. You benefit from these rules when calling (to mobile and fixed phones), sending text messages (SMS) and using data services while abroad.

We have been keeping you up to date on the reduction of mobile call charges over the years. A reminder that from today June 15 2017, roaming charges are scrapped. The extra roaming fee, will be the same as domestic price. Please speak to your provider about this.

Note* Not applicable to Switzerland.
