According to Rafa. Most insurances companies when providing you with a quote for buildings insurance (the clue is in the name of the insurance) They tend to encourage you to take out the premium on the value of your home. This is unnecessary and increases your annual payment considerably. The premium should be calculated on the cost to REBUILD your property only.
