Botulism In Canned Tuna – Día Supermarket Own Brand

It´s about the 900 gram canned tuna, yellow big round cans with extra plastic lid.

From the Ministry´s website, notification of the Agencia Española de Seguridad Alimentaria y Nutrición (AESAN)/
Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) : botulism toxin has been found in tuna in sunflower oil RO 900 format, DIA brand, with lot no. 19/154 023 02587 made in Frinsa del Noroeste S.A. with preferential consumption date 12/31/2022. The entire product was distributed through the DIA platform to establishments in the autonomous communities of Asturias, Castilla y León, Cataluña, Aragón, La Rioja, Murcia, Navarra, Castilla – La Mancha and Valencia, where immobilization and withdrawal have been carried out of the affected products.

Anyone in those areas with those cans in their pantry are asked to check the lot nr. and if it corresponds with the above, return them to the shop.
