– zig zag yellow lines on the road: no parking unless for special purpose vehicles (ambulances or buses e.g.) or to indicate loading area
– yellow rectangular, corners connected by X on the road: no parking allowed.

Advised maximum speed

Yellow flag, precaution: danger ahead

Red flag – road ahead temporarily blocked for all traffic, except those accompanied by official vehicle(s)

Green flag – road ahead is free again

White flag, indicating vehicle behind to go and stop to right hand side of the road.
You might have seen members of a unit of the Protección Civil directing Trafic during a special event, a religious procession or a bicycle race for example. By law, if so instructed by the regular Traffic Officers or Local Police they are allowed to deny vehicles or pedestrians access to roads, or lanes, that will be occupied temporarily by the participants of the event, to guarantee their safety.
