New Tourism Decree for Balearic Islands

Approved in December last year, but only published in the national bulletin last week, a new Tourism Royal Decree for the Balearic Islands, with urgent measures to enable development of quality, competitivity and off season tourism on the Islands.

Some of the articles of this Royal Decree are in fact amendments or additions to the existing Tourism Law from 2012.

What caught my eye were the added articles re obligatory insurance to cover civic responsibility in case of damages to goods or persons, clients or users, with regards to
A. Agro Tourism, B. businesses renting out ´viviendas´ as holiday homes, and C. Active Tourism businesses.

For more information, here´s the LINK to the actual Royal Decree.
