Most will be aware that yesterday the UK government held a meeting at chequers to discuss the future relationship with the EU. The agreement (according to the government) is to be put into a white paper and has caused furore amongst leave and remain politicians alike. Seen as a soft Brexit but with none of the advantages of the Norway model for example. The EU had said there would be no cherry picking and UK should abide by the four freedoms; The free movement of goods, services, capital and persons within the EU. It appears that the first three have been considered leaving out the right to free movement for EU citizens. Could it be a coincidence that the prime minister met with the German chancellor just the day before.
