Citizens Advice UK AGM and Conference Fundraiser

In the last quarter of this year we have had three invitations. The first was to Glasgow “A Place in the Sun” exhibition. Two CAB volunteers attended and we returned on October 31. The second was a talk given by me at the Phoenix Club Torre del Mar on November 7.

On November 13 and 14, I will be representing the Citizens Advice of Spain at the Citizens Advice UK AGM and Conference. The event will take place on November 13/14 2017 at the Manchester Central Conference centre. This will be the first invitation that CAB Spain have received from Citizens Advice UK. It is important that we attend to further our future prospects.  It will give me a chance to meet with staff from offices with whom we collaborate. There is much to discuss.

There is also a meeting organised by Citizens Advice International of which CAB Spain are friends. At this separate event There will be representatives from Romania, Poland, Czech Republic, Ireland, Gibraltar and Asia and African Charities. There will also be representatives from Jersey, Guernsey, Wales, Citizens Advice Uk, Scotland and Isle of Wight.

Whatever steps we take at CAB Spain is to helping the charity to get exposure and further recognition. Not forgetting the invaluable information shared between the various countries. Of course the main aim is helping our citizens in Spain.
