2025: The minimum wage (SMI)for 2025 has been set at €1,166 gross per month, spread over 14 payments annually.

The minimum inter professional salary (SMI)rise by 15 euros, 1.6%, up to 965 euros. The rise will be effective from September 1. 2021.

The increase in the SMI does not have an effect on unemployment benefit. Therefore subsidies of 451,92 monthly will not change. Figures for benefits are regulated by the IPREM and not the SMI.
