The form to use to apply for Bono Social / Rate Subsidiy for Autonomos, as announced in the Royal Decree published on the 1st of April, has been published on Saturday the 4th of April. If you have already applied, using a previous form, this application will be processed, as long as you give explicit permission for your data to be verified telematically (this permission was not included on the previous form, it is on this latest one).

Translation of the Important Information on page 7.
1. In the event that your request was incomplete, within a maximum period of 5 business days from the reception, your electricity supplier will contact you indicating the supporting documentation to be remedied.
2. Upon receipt by the electricity supplier of your complete application accompanied by the supporting documentation, they will verify the data that they have through the platform Information technology available for this purpose in the Electronic Office of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge.
After carrying out this check, they will notify you by email of the result of the verification of compliance with the requirements set forth in article 28.1 and 2 of the Royal Decree-Law 11/2020, of March 31, for the application of the Bono Social, indicating, where appropriate, the date from which they will proceed to its application.
This check will be done as soon as possible and they will communicate the result within a maximum period of five workdays.
In the event that the result is positive, within that period the change of marketer and the contract will be formalized with you at Voluntary Price for the Small Consumer (PVPC).
3. All personal data processing that must be carried out will be carried out in accordance with the regulations of the European Union and Spain regarding the protection of personal data.
4. It will be applicable to this type of Bono Social for vulnerable consumers, all the current regulations on the social bond and, in particular, those included in Law 24/2013, of December 26, of the Electricity Sector, in Royal Decree 897/2017, of October 6, and in Order ETU / 943/2017, of 6 of October.
Remember that the social bond will accrue from the first day of the billing cycle in which the electricity supplier has received the complete application accompanied by the necessary supporting documentation.
