How to Change Address/Circumstances on Residency Certificate/Authorisation

You are obliged by law to keep the authorities, so the Policia Nacional or Foreigners Office in your province informed of change of address/circumstances within 30 days of the fact, if you´re from outside the EU and have a residency authorisation TIE. Art. 214 from the Real Decreto 557/2011, of 20th of April.

Non EU Form

The same obligation for those from the EU but no strict window, worded in art. 14.2 of the Real Decreto 240/2007, of 16th of February.

EU residents can download the EX18 found by searching with the keywords or use the link to form below. Remember to tick the relevant box under “Modificaciön”.

Change of address with an updated padron certificate of new address, photocopy of first and photo page of passport, EX18 and residency certificate.

To apply for a new certificate / TIE you will need to pay the relevant Tasa/Administrative fee first.
