Please note that for both landlords and tenants there used to be deductions in place, but they have been abolished and only transitional agreements in place now, for those that started their contracts before the date of the change of tax law.

There could still be regional deductions possible, please check with a gestor in your area for more info. As a general rule, the ‘fianza’ needs to have been deposited with the relevant autonomous authorities, for the deductions to be allowed.
