Today, 14.3.2020, the “Policía Nacional” has notified the public of the Suspension of the provision of documents for as long as the State of Alarm to contain the Coronavirus will last. This will include the provision or renewal of all ID documents and residency registrations/certificates.
All prior appointments are also cancelled except for those with justifiable emergencies.
Once normality is restored, affected citizens must make a new appointment.
Press Release Policia Nacional 31.3.2020 confirming they will accept docs that expired during the State of Alarm, when renewing. Also confirming that temporary authorisations to reside in Spain that expire during the State of Alarm, will be suspended if the holder can accredit they were unable to return to their home country.
Press Release Policia Nacional 2.4.2020 that appointments for TIEs will no longer be possible, unless in emergency situations.
ITV – Andalucia
In Andalucia the ITV stations will remain closed for the duration of the State of Alarm and validity of certificates will be extended with the same period. The ‘cita previa’ services will not be operational either.
The government also announced that for all administrative procedures, the days that the State of Alarm lasts, will be considered as ‘no habiles’, effectively extending all maximum periods established for those with the same period.
Andalucia Public transport: aside from the fact that less buses, metros and trains will be operational, in the train carriages and buses there will be a max. capacity of 50%, thus ensuring more distance between passengers. In buses, the first three rows behind the driver free are to be left unoccupied.
Employment Agencies Valencia
The employment offices of the Valencian Community close face-to-face attention to the public and guarantee the telephone management of their benefits.
The network of employment offices will be closed from this Monday the 16th of March for attending the public in person, maintaining its internal operations to guarantee the registration and renewal of the job application and the processing of unemployment benefits in the Valencian Community, by agreement of the Directorate of the autonomous public employment services (Labora) and state (Sepe).
Meanwhile the extraordinary situation generated by the current state of alarm is prolonged, the public employment services will proceed to renew all paro registrations at the due date, in order to facilitate the subsequent recognition of unemployment benefits that it corresponds.
National Employment Agencies SEPE are also closing their doors to the public.
They will remain operational, behind closed doors, guaranteeing the processing of unemployment benefits.
Information from the Seguridad Social
The Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations has ordered to close the service of attention to the face-to-face public in its offices of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS), the General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS) and the Social Institute of the Marina (ISM) as of Monday, March 16, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Citizens have the possibility to carry out urgent procedures that cannot be postponed through the electronic instruments of the Electronic Office, the System RED and the Electronic Registry and by calling 901166565 (INSS) and 901502050 (TGSS). The centres will remain operational behind closed doors, in order to guarantee the operation of only the essential services.
In addition, the suspension of terms and the interruption of terms of the administrative procedures approved yesterday are taken into account so as not to harm the citizens.
Civil Registers will be closed to the public.
Only burial licenses, term birth registrations and the celebration of marriages will be attended.
All Tax Offices are closed to the public.
SUMA offices closed to the public as well.
Message on their website: The voluntary payment period March 5 to June 5 has been suspended for the duration of the State of Alarm.
